INTEGRA DEVELOPMENT CENTER

A safe environment for middle/high schoolers to receive support with their distance/online learning as well as Whole Child Development by our phenomenal team of compassionate, credentialed educators.

WHAT WE DO

We are dedicated to the holistic and academic development of both middle and high schoolers.

We are not a school but rather a development center where compassionate, credentialed educators provide academic support, helping students excel with their distance/online/hybrid learning.

Additionally, the day is structured to ensure students benefit from Integra, a college prep course in which students gain the mental, emotional, social, physical, and personal skills needed to thrive.

OUR WHY

To ensure young adults have a safe place to go where they can grow holistically, connect with guides & peers, feel surrounded by a community that supports their well-being, & further develop a sense of purpose.

IDENTIFY THE LEARNER

Is Integra Development Center right for you?

ENROLLMENT

Is your middle/high schooler enrolled in an online program and/or having to do distance learning (or a hybrid model)?

CONCERNS

Is your student and/or family concerned about the effects distance learning will have, whether academically, mentally, emotionally, socially, etc.?

NURTURE

Do you wish there was a way for your student to be supported in a small, safe, nurturing environment with compassionate, empathetic, enthusiastic adults who will get to know and deeply care about your student?

SUPPORT

Do you wish your student had a class that supported their mental, emotional, social, physical, & personal development, teaching them to thrive both internally and externally?

INTEGRA CURRICULUM

Integra is Latin for, entire, complete, whole. Through Integra we develop the whole being: mentally, emotionally, socially, physically, and personally, extending learning far beyond acquisition of knowledge. These are the five building blocks for which we stand and operate:

Teacher Writing a Formula on a Blackboard

MENTAL POWER

We develop students mentally by teaching them how to think, not what to think. As students begin to recognize how powerful their thoughts are, they gain freedom over their conscious mind, insight to their subconscious mind, and the ability to alter how they perceive and experience their world.

Meditating

EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE

We develop students emotionally by inviting them to get in touch with their emotions. We then give them the tools needed to understand and regulate their emotions, confidently express themselves, and empathize with others.

SOCIAL SKILLS

We develop students socially by teaching and modeling authentic relationships and healthy communication as well as celebrating individual uniqueness. Students then understand how these skillsets enhance their lives and the lives of others.

Streching

PHYSICAL WELL-BEING

We develop students physically by integrating exercise and nutrition while encouraging the holistic side of personal health. By teaching them how mental, emotional and personal health are linked to physical health, students have a vested interest in taking care of their bodies from the inside, out.

Reading in the Park

PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT

We develop students personally by creating a space for them to connect with their core being. By introducing them to personal development, students gain clarity on the questions, Who am I? What is my life’s purpose? How do I create my best life?

Be You

OUR BELIEF

“The highest function of education is to bring about an integrated individual who is capable of dealing with life as a whole.”

-Krishnamurti
